TURA | Aug 11, 2019:

A 12-year-old boy identified as Bilcham N Marak went missing from Tura and was last seen at about 7 pm yesterday (Aug 10).

Originally from Nongalbibra in South Garo Hills (SGH), the boy, who is a student of Class VII, lives with his maternal aunt at Rongkhon Songittal locality in Tura.

A missing report was filed by the relatives this evening at the Tura PS, Aug 11.

According to close relatives of the missing boy, he was last seen playing with his friends the whole day and returned back home after one of his aunts saw him near the Chandmary field in Tura.

Confirming the incident, the superintendent of police, WGH, Dr MGR Kumar said, “We have received inputs of the boy going missing and all PCRs across the state and in Assam have been informed. Hopefully we should be able to locate him quickly.”
