Residents demand implementation of NH 127B through Asanang – Rongrengre

With a demand to implement the proposed National Highway 127B through the old road between Asanang – Rongrengre, the residents of the area have formed a committee so to put their demand forward to the authorities.

Having been deprived of their salary for several months, the All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers’ Association (AGHSSASTA) has submitted a memorandum to the chairman of SSA and sought an order to exempt them from paying the school fees of children, until the pending salaries of the teachers have been cleared.
