CM Sangma dares rebel congress legislators to resign from post of MLA

Shillong, Dec 07, 2017: Days after the ruling MUA -II government suffered a major blow with the resignation of Power Minister Comingone Ymbon, Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma on Wednesday said that if somebody has the courage then let them resign from post of MLAs.

CM lays foundation stone of state’s 1st medical college in Shillong


Shillong, December 7, 2017: After a long wait, construction process of the Shillong Medical College kick started after foundation stone of the first medical college in the state was finally laid down by Chief Minister, Dr Mukul M Sangma here on Wednesday.

SHILLONG: In what can be termed as a boost to the social enterprises and initiatives in Meghalaya, Shillong’s Emarine Kharbhih has been selected as an Acumen Fellow 2018 for the prestigious Acumen Fellowship Programme 2018. The Acumen India Fellows are a community of individuals who are currently leading, or an integral part of building, an organization or initiative that exists to eradicate poverty and/or injustice, i.e. a social enterprise (for profit or non-profit), movement, community-based initiative or non-profit organization.
