PIC | When traps are laid everywhere yet we choose to remain indifferent

The above picture was taken near NEEPCO in 4th Furlong, the road that leads to Laitumkhrah. As seen in the picture, a bog pothole lying uncovered by authorities poses a grave threats not only to vehicles plying to and fro this stretch but also to pedestrians especially during school hours.

Shillong traders down shutters in respect of slain CRPF jawans

SHILLONG | Feb 18, 2019:

As a mark of respect and solidarity towards the sacrifices made by the 49 CRPF jawans in Jammu and Kashmir (Pulwama), the Shillong Road Side Hawkers’ Association today pulled down their shutters from 9 am to 12 noon and took out a silent rally in the city main commercial hub– Khyndai Lad.
