NPP confident of NDA’s victory, says BJP-led alliance will storm back to power

SHILLONG | April 29, 2019:

Meghalaya NPP chief, Dr WR Kharlukhi on Monday exuded confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the BJP at the Centre will storm back to power even as he proclaimed that if a non-NDA government comes to power, then the NPP would prefer sitting in the Opposition bench.

Meghalaya Chief Minister on Saturday justified his decision to accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi to file his nomination for Varanasi Lok Sabha seat on Friday stating “We have been very clear on our stand and we have been working with the NDA.”
