The Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sohra Civil Sub Division has under Section 144 CrPC relaxed the Curfew in the areas under Sohra Police Station with effect from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. of 5th March, 2020 and will be extended again from 6:00 P.M. of 5th   March, 2020 until further orders.

The death toll in the aftermath of the clash, which erupted at Ichamati near Shella on Feb 28, has risen to three on March 1 with the latest killing being reported at Pyrken village under Shella PS in the wee hours of Sunday.
