Shillong, Nov 29, 2017: Two local youth who recently bagged Gold medals for the country in the two different international martial arts events will be felicitated by Meghalaya Governor Ganga Prasad at a public function to be held in Shillong on December 1.
The duo — Pynshai Mawrie and Sanbor Lyngdoh Nongpuir from Meghalaya brought laurels to the country and the state in the international platforms by winning gold in different categories.
Shillong, November 29, 2017: The only goal in the second half of the I-League match between Gokulam Kerala FC and Shillong Lajong FC was scored by Alen Deory as GKFC lost to SLFC by 1-0. The match was held on a cold wintery night at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong, Meghalaya on Monday. It was also Shillong Lajong’s first ever I-League match.
