Shillong, July 16, 2018:
Two separate accident cases involving two wheelers were reported across the state on Sunday. In the first cases, a scooty collided with car at Pomura village in East Khasi Hills.
The victim identified as Firmly Ryngkhlem (27) injured the right shoulder with bleeding from the nose and ears. He also suffered right foot fracture with laceration on the lips and right ear with mouth bleeding. The victim was administered treatment by medical staffs of 108 which rushed to the spot from Mawryngkneng. Wound care was done with splinting, c- collar and dressing was also applied. He was later shifted to NEIGRIHMS in semi conscious state.
Another case was reported in Jhalupara in Shillong where one Vishal Sharma (17) sustained injuries when his scooty skidded. The victim had right shoulder injury with deep cut on the forehead and laceration from the chin. Wound care was done and victim shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Shillong Civil ambulance in a conscious and stable condition.
